Movement and rhythm....

Four American artists also came to stay at Camac during August - three dancers (Sandra, Leslie and Rebecca) and a percussionist (Don). Together they worked on a visual performance piece, fusing movement, dance, video and sound. A couple of days ago the group kindly put on a showcase for us all to see what they'd been working on.

On a side note... I haven't come across too many people called 'Lesley' in my life, but it was great to meet another! In a freaky coincidence we both have the same first name (although spelt differently), the same middle name and our surnames also start with the letter 'S'! We chatted about namesakes, her hometown of Houston and the spectacular Li Cunxin (of Mao's Last Dancer fame and now Queensland Ballet's Artistic Director) who danced at the Houston Ballet for many years.
